What you'll be doing on the job

HEAL Program Manager 

Happy Energy Action Leadership (HEAL) is a multi-stakeholder leadership and capacity-building program by the 'Education Administration Programs' and the Rocky Mountain Institute. HEAL is designed to accelerate Indonesia’s energy transition by cultivating complex system leadership, growing holistic and interdisciplinary skills, and developing authentic and responsive stakeholder coordination. It is a novel approach to solving our complex energy challenges through technical solutions and also by tending to the quality of commitment and collaboration of the actors in the system.

Scope of Work
HEAL is seeking to recruit a program manager to nurture the program through its development and delivery phases. Together with UID’s faculty, the program manager will be responsible for ensuring that the program is delivered in a timely and resource-effective manner. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Active Program Oversight: Directly manage and oversee all aspects of the program development and implementation, including hands-on involvement in its day-to-day activities and problem-solving where necessary, to ensure successful and timely program delivery.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage and liaise with stakeholders, including participants, partners, and funders, government patrons, building and maintaining strong relationships that secure institutional support for the program.

• Financial Support and Fundraising: Support fundraising initiatives by identifying and engaging potential donors, sponsors, and partners to ensure program financial security.

• Participants Recruitment and Project Enrolment: Take a hands-on role in participant recruitment, coordinating outreach efforts and ensuring the successful enrolment of individuals into the program.

• Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E): Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation processes, including feedback and data collection, analysis, and reporting, to assess program effectiveness and recommend/implement continuous improvement measures. 

• Reporting: Prepare hands-on reports based on monitoring and evaluation outcomes, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders and providing insights for program improvement.

• Sector-Specific Contribution: Apply in-depth hands-on knowledge of the energy transition landscape in Indonesia, actively contributing to program adaptation, improvement, and success.

• Support the program by performing other duties as necessary.
